Yesterday I went to watch this Movie The Hangover. Some people might be wondering how in the hell am I able to watch this movie when it has not even yet release yet. A few weeks back, I brought a New Paper for my shift work duty since its going to get bored at certain time of the day. While I was reading through the newspaper, I saw this column on lucky draw but the condition is that you will have to answer so question and so I tried my luck and sms my answer in. Last week, I got an email regarding the movie. Guess what? I was selected to go watch this movie and they call it the super sneak preview for free@!!

Alright, I shall not write too much into how I go about going there etc. The movie was basically for those who would like to have a relax weekend or weekdays whichever you desire. It is really worth while watching but of course you have to be above the age of 16 as there are so scene not suitable for this group of people to watch. It is really funny and hilarious. You could be laughing most of your time out. Believe me, you will not catch their joke at the start until about 25mins later. I’m sure those who went to watch yesterday were laughing like hell throughout the show. So you might be asking me what is so funny about it.

I shall not tell you but I will give a brief summary of it.

Summary

Angelenos Doug Billings and Tracy Garner are about to get married. Two days before the wedding, the four men in the wedding party – Doug, Doug’s two best buddies Phil Wenneck and Stu Price, and Tracy’s brother Alan Garner – hop into Tracy’s father’s beloved Mercedes convertible for a 24-hour stag party to Las Vegas. Phil, a married high school teacher, has the same maturity level as his students when he’s with his pals. Stu, a dentist, is worried about everything, especially what his controlling girlfriend Melissa thinks. Because she disapproves of traditional male bonding rituals, Phil has to lie to her about the stag, he telling her that they are going on a wine tasting tour in the Napa Valley. Regardless, he intends on eventually marrying her, against the advice and wishes of his friends. And Alan seems to be unaware of what are considered the social graces of the western world. The morning after their arrival in Las Vegas, they awaken in their hotel suite each with the worst hangover. None remembers what happened in the past twelve or so hours. The suite is in shambles. And certain things are in the suite that shouldn’t be, and certain things that should be in the suite are missing. Probably the most important in the latter category is Doug. As Phil, Stu and Alan try to find Doug using only what little pieces of information they have at hand, they go on a journey of discovery of how certain things got into the suite and what happened to the missing items. However they are on a race for time as if they can’t find Doug in the next few hours, they are going to have to explain to Tracy why they are not yet back in Los Angeles. And even worse, they may not find Doug at all before the wedding.

My Opinion

I would rate this movie 4 out of 5 stars for its plot and most importantly the joke. It really lighten up the atmosphere and enable people who are stress to reduce stress and put aside all the problem and really enjoy the show. The movie does have a point that men at one stage of their life would need to change after marriage and thus in order not to miss what they will never get to do forever. That was the last chance for them to really go into it and not worry about anything. In Asia, when you are married, there are many things you will not be able to do like womanized, gamble, too close to any woman etc

Yes I do agree that not all woman mind about all these but many of them would mind about it. In turn when a woman does that, the man would also be not happy about it thus its a two way traffic to a relationship. After marriage, many things would definitely change as all of us would have to be more committed and responsible for everything we do especially when you have kids.

Thus I would recommend this show to watch. Its really great! Its not a boring movie at all. Trust me, you will be laughing yourself out most of the time!

Kinda of weird I do have those symptoms mentioned in bold. My temperature is kinda of unstable at the moment. It just went up from 36.7 to 37.2. I don’t know, maybe I should seek medical attention again tomorrow just to be sure about it.

I’m currently down with fever, cough, flu and throat infection since yesterday. It all started off with my throat feeling very bad to such an extent that I could not eat proper solid food. Things start to change after that, I visited Tampines Polyclinic and found that I only have throat pain but my condition worsen the following day morning when my temperature went up to 37.3 initially but when I visited the doctor, I was told that I’m running a slight fever of 37.6 degrees.

Looks like this weekend was suppose to meant for me to take a break and have a good rest at home. It’s not easy for me on one hand as I didn’t want to cause other people to get call back. People might be thinking was it something I planned just to have some good rest. My answer is definitely NO!

I was planning to have a good rest at home and accompany my dad. Oh well, I manage to get my leave after so many call backs but in return I was sick. Good thing is, I get to rest my body well after so many months. It’s not easy trying to make sure that I have ample rest and have to work night shift.  Anyway, I hope my colleague all could understand my condition.

At first, I thought I might have H1N1 but luckily the doctor told me its not. I’m so glad to hear that.

By the way, Can anybody explain to me how is it possible that I use 3 different email account, 2 hotmail and 1 yahoo mail to send mail to google mail. But the google mail user is still unable to receive my mail? Those who are using google mail, Please do let me know as I believe its impossible that it is not able to receive hotmail or yahoo mail at all. This is ridiculous! As mentioned before in my previous entries, how is it that after checking with the bank, everything is fine to the bank and me. But the seller still insists that I didn’t transfer the transaction successfully?

The reasons are as follows:

• Receive Money but did not reply to any emails regarding to the item been purchase. (Didn’t even bother to inform if the item was sold out or what, simply no reply at all. About 3 or 4 emails has been sent out so far plus comments on livejournal didn’nt reply about it)
• Owner comments was to send email for her to verify and we did just that but still no reply up till now. It has been a week since the first email was sent out on July 2, 2009.
• Even if the item was sold out, at least a refund should be given or other alternative given for shopper to choose but NO. No email was sent out also.

Conclusion: This ower either didn’t bother or was just simply a cheater who just cheat money. From what I heard from my gf, her blog was choosen in one of the magazine because of the nice style and items she has. By right it shouldn’t be a cheater site but then again, still got cheated.

So if anybody come across this site, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE OWNER
